My 1st “in the field” QR Code Sighting
Posted in News by Darryl at 10:13 am |

And so it begins, with the CBC no less. I’m on the subway heading to work, looking at a subway takeover for the new TV series The Border, and there in the bottom left hand corner of the posters, is a QR code. Kudos CBC, keep up the good work. Now I just need to get a mobile phone with a camera!

I saw that too, of course I do have a camera on my phone.. but wtf do I do with that?

these things won’t work if people don’t know what to do with them :)

The CBC is asking people to SMS the picture of the code to a number (http://www.cbc.ca/theborder/). It’s for a contest.

You can get a reader for your phone here:

There might be better places though. I know Vespa made it easy when they ran their campaign.
